I bought this to use with my Griot's Garage 10765STDCRD 6" Random Orbital with 10' Cord. I wanted to use the 3M 39014 Lens Renewal Kit with the buffer instead of a drill. The pads included in the restoration kit are 3" but the Buffer is a 6". Griot's Garage makes a 3" Random Orbital Buffer but I didn't want to buy an extra buffer when I figured I could just buy a different size disc instead. I took a risk buying this as I didn't know if it would have the right connector but it did!The hook backing is perfect for sanding and buffing pads with HookIt backing. After a few uses the hooks are still in perfect condition with no signs of wearing down.So if you have an Orbital Buffer and want to use 3" pads you can count on this 3M Disc Pad Kit on being compatible.
