This is a sturdy disc and the kids love that it is lighted. Adults enjoyed it and thought it was well weighted and glided well for long throws.One of the best frisbees around! Please keep making more of them!!Last year I bought the Flashlighter, which is an awesome frisbee. You can choose the color, it lights up in a cool pattern, it flies straight and far. It is definitely the coolest looking of the two brands, the downside is that it is very hard thick plastic, if you catch it wrong it hurts, and it was the more expensive of the two. But it doesn't feel like a cheap generic frisbee, it is a quality toy that stood up to the dog and hours of play and still lights up great.This year I bought the aerobie to have something for the kids to play with while the grownups play (you will definitely want more than one at some point). The aerobie is made out of softer plastic with a soft rim that doesn't break your fingers off if you catch it wrong, so that is nice. It is cheaper, so if that is important to you, you will not go wrong here. The downsides are, the light up effect is just not as cool. Instead of being a white frisbee that lights up colored led, this one has a colored rim and a white led. It is pretty bright, it will sometimes shine right into your eyeballs (not a big deal, but it does happen). Because it is a lighter plastic, if there is any wind you have to chuck it pretty hard, or it will catch the wind and not meet your target. Also the soft plastic gets bent and then will wobble in flight, it is easy to bend back though. You cannot choose your color, I bought four different aerobies of different varieties from two different sellers and ended up with all orange, not a huge deal, but our family loves blue....Overall, when we had a choice, we preferred the aerobie to the flashlighter because it was so easy to catch, even for the kids (6 and up). They are both good choices though, we have had a ton of fun with both varieties and found both very durable. Make sure to get glowsticks for your crew so that you can see your targets, another thing we like to have are the flashing bumpy rings (also from here on amazon) they are very visible and reusable. Happy frisbee throwing!It’s been a year since I purchased this. We got the color yellow, which slightly bummed us out, but it lights up GREAT. This has been our most used frisbee & we take it everywhere. The lights work great & it looks like a little ufo soaring across the field. It goes pretty straight & we can throw this far.We’ve thrown it straight up & had it collide with the concrete/dirt below- still works. We’ve accidentally hit a few cars- no damage. The outside of the frisbee is a a soft but rigid, flexible silicone plastic. This thing has taken heavy damage & it’s still in great condition. No dents, tears, & the light has been functional.It’s easy to throw & goes far, we absolutely love this thing. We have never played frisbee much until we got this, now it’s a staple for when we have bbqs or outings. It’s been a great addition.Lots of fun, just dont get it wet!Honestly the best frisbee on the market. We have literally been using these frisbees for damn near 20 years and they are great. They are getting harder to find as to why I bought 4 of them. The light is actually pretty bright. We play all the time at 2am drunk off our asses at my cabin and still manage to catch the damn thing. Honestly the straightest and most accurate frisbee I've ever thrown in my life. My buddy had one for over 10 years so durability isn't an issue. Not sure if they are still made to this day, but I sure do hope soLet me explain. My GF doesn't have the longest arms in the world or the skinniest bust (thank God) so when performing a sweeping arm motion of throwing the frisbee, she can't get a full range like a standard smaller size because this frisbee is larger than standard. Now for most people thats an okay thing but I had to rate it 4 stars. It's designed larger to be more accurate and it's a good design and its doing its job right. It glows nicely in the dark, simple to turn that on, and it is lightweight yet durable. If you want something with a little more flair and/or long distance give it a try.Bought this frisbee for evening beach/camping fun 5 years ago. Light amazingly still works. Good buy, indeed!This is ok as a frisbee but the highlight is the light, which makes the playtime extended, throughout the evening or even night time. It is sturdy enough to resist a few good bumps but I wouldn't expect this to resist rough play. The sides are softer and the light can be easily turned on and off. Replaceable battery, should last you at least a few months of play time.This is an Aerobie Superdisc with a small white LED module in the centre, there are two emitters on opposite sides of the hub giving the disc a lighthouse look in flight. The LED's are bright which leads to problems in darker conditions as it can be difficult to see the person you are throwing the disc to. If you have experienced the Superdisc then you know what to expect in terms of the flight experience, it's a good stable disc capable of some impressive distances.I love playing Frisbee after work but in the winter it just gets way too dark to play. Combined with head torches this gave us a way to play no matter the time of year! Doesn't fly as far as the 13" disk Aerobies but flies much farther than a traditional plastic Frisbee. I imagine it really freaks dog walkers out to see a hovering disk flying back and forth in the distance.Too small. Not good. I ordered the big 30cm one and they sent me this.This just doesn’t fly very well. Lights up ok though. Needs a bit more development
